Possible story prompt. My friend lives close to Obersee in Switzerland. We went for a walk there, it was lovely. I wondered why there was nobody swimming and asked. She looked at me and said "No, swimming is not permitted. Swimmers can be sucked under through the ground to the Untersee and Iselsee." The lakes are hydrologically linked and balance eachother.
